Day 11 - Weigh in results

Not too shabby! Especially considering that I haven't exercised a single day (not counting just being active) and I'm bloated from my period. And yesterday I had a surprise dinner date for my birthday and didn't get in all my water! This challenge is working... And I'm pumped to see what the next 14 days has in store.

I stopped posting my food daily since the food police came out and started criticizing my choices. And I've been super busy ending the school year (I am done!).

Onward!

Hollie,

I look forward to your daily posts. Please don't let the food police stop you. You are helping those of us who struggle with our weight daily. Your blog is something I can relate to. I myself have been on every diet, diet pill, whatever, and still struggle. I know that my will power with food, is at absolute 0. As silly as it sounds, it is encouraging to see that I'm not the only one who has this struggle, and that you have the same struggles as I do, and that you are not afraid to put it out there on the web for all to see. You probably have no idea how many people out there read your blog, and can relate. Please keep posting!!!

I had to go back and find the comment you were referring to. I am sure she was trying to be helpful, but I am much like you...unless I ask for your opinion (especially when it comes to my food intake) then I really don't want it. One time I had a coworker who commented on a twinkie I was eating (slightly different situation), and let me just tell you...that was also the last time he commented on my eating! lol But if posting your food helps keep you accountable, you should do it...and it may be helpful to others.

I read your blog yesterday and as I am in a diet too to loose way too much weight, there is only one way: forward, onward =)

Woohoo! Seems like you're doing well so far :) I think you should post your food logs despite what other people think/say, but I understand if you don't want to draw those negative comments. Keep up the awesome work!

I soooo get the food police thing! I use a popular app to track my own food as well as my client's food. It is so unbelievably hard to be honest sometimes because I definitely don't eat perfect! However, I find that being honest makes other people feel better about their less than perfect choices and still keeps me on track more than if no one was ever watching. I've followed your blog for a long time and I think your honesty is wonderful. I hope you won't let a jerk or two mute that part of yourself!

I have such a hard time being honest about my food when I know my clients and friends are watching but I do it anyway because I think it helps to encourage others to be honest and to realize that you can attain weight loss and health without being perfect. I've followed your blog for a long time and I've always appreciated your honesty. I hope you won't let some random jerk ruin it.

Hey, just found your blog and I'm enjoying it :) One thing-don't feel bad about posting your food choices! I just started a new blog and it's main focus is my food diary. I had no problem at all posting about the entire pizza I ate last Friday (it was an epic event lol), because I know how I eat is helping me accomplish my goals, and that's what matters. I've actually been scouring the blogosphere looking for other bloggers who keep their food diaries on their blogs, but I'm not having a lot of luck. Would love to see yours :)

Now following!

Hi there, just wanted to say Good Job And I wanted to chime in on Sarah's comment and say that I agree taht you should keep posting your food! Posting your food does two things -it helps other people relate to you whether they are eating like you or not or if you mess up then they can rally with you on what that feels like. And #2, posting online what you eat does wonders for keeping accountable. SOmetimes I eat better just knowing that I have to post it that night. It really really helps! So keep it up. Oh and Sarah, I post my food pretty regularly so feel free to check me out: www.foodlovemefoodhateme.com
